Brand Manager (Classical Brands)

D’Addario UK Ltd, the UK representative and supplier of D’Addario, Rico, Planet Waves, Evans, PureSound and Pro Mark products, is seeking a Brand Manager to represent our classical brands and products. The position is home-based with the requirement of frequent travel.

The Brand Manager position has a responsibility to develop outreach programs and other marketing activities, focusing on D'Addario's classical/orchestral products, namely Rico reeds, ligatures and accessories, D’Addario bowed strings and accessories, Evans orchestral drumheads, Pro Mark orchestral sticks, mallets and accessories and Planet Waves accessories. This includes maintaining and acquiring new artists, private teachers, and educators who can help build support for marketing and sales initiatives. In addition, it includes building relationships with specialist dealers, delivering staff training, merchandising and sales activities.

This position requires a proactive approach to sales and marketing including scheduling events and outreach to establish relationships with market influencers. It would include visiting dealers, makers/repairers, universities, presenting to music educators, attending orchestral events and festivals to help build support for the classical brands and products. The Brand Manager will also assist the Managing Director in facilitating brand growth through analysis of market/customer trends, pricing/profitability, marketing materials, merchandising, advertising/promotion, sales support/training, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in music or other related discipline.
  • A broad knowledge of the orchestral instrument/accessories industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Computer literacy.

Internal Sales Manager (Classical Brands)

D’Addario UK Ltd, the UK representative and supplier of D’Addario, Rico, Planet Waves, Evans, PureSound and Pro Mark products, is seeking an Internal Sales Manager with expertise in classical music products to join our Sales and Marketing departments. The position is based in Gateshead with the requirement of occasional travel.

The Internal Sales Manager position has the responsibility to manage sales and customer service for our classical music dealers, customers and products, namely Rico reeds, ligatures and accessories, D’Addario bowed strings and accessories, Evans orchestral drumheads, Pro Mark orchestral sticks, mallets and accessories and Planet Waves accessories. This includes building relationships with specialist dealers, educators and artists, taking orders and delivering excellent customer service. In addition you will be required to support the activities of the Brand Manager in the marketing of our classical brands and products, and to contribute to the development of our social media activities in the classical area.

This position requires a proactive approach to sales, marketing and co-operation. You will be required to help co-ordinate your and the Brand Manager's activities, together with the D’Addario UK sales and marketing teams to form a cohesive sales and marketing strategy for our classical music products.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in music or other related discipline.
  • A broad knowledge of the orchestral instrument/accessories industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentations skills.
  • Computer literacy, in particular, social media software.
